How To Change Wifi Password (PTCL)

This post is for those Ptcl user who want to change wifi password and name of their Ptcl broadband connection. If you are new user of Ptcl you surely want to change the password and name of Wifi. Just follow the given steps.

Step #1: Open The Browser

Open your default browser and after opening the browser enter this IP address in address bar.
192.168.10.1 Or 192.168.1.1 Depend on your router model.

Step #2: Login Ptcl Router

In this step you have to login into ptcl router. For this you need username and password. This username and password are shown on backside of the router just note and login into settings as shown in picture. IP Address and password are shown in picture. Default Username is Admin

Step #3: Change Username And Password

In this step  change the Wireless SSID (Wifi Name) and password and Click On Save/Reboot and wait few seconds. 

Finally your wifi password will be changed and no one can use your Wifi.

How To Lock A Drive In Windows 8

How To Lock A Drive Using BitLocker

In step 1 just right-click on the drive and select Turn BitLocker On. 

In Next Step just Click On Use a password to unlock the drive and enter your password. 

Don't Forget: Password Should Contain Upper And Lower Case Letters, Numbers, Spaces And Symbols.

In Step 3 you have to save your password recovery file. There are four option

• Save to your Microsoft account
• Save to a USB flash drive
• Save to a file
• Print the recovery key

I suggest you should select Save to a file option. Click on this option and save a recovery file in your PC and don't tell about this file to anyone. 

After Saving the file click on next.
In Step 4 Click On  Encrypt used disk space only. And click on next.

wait until 100% Completed

After Completing the Encryption you just click on locked drive and see the image of locked drive.

How To Find Wifi Password On Windows 8

If  you have no longer access to your Wifi password in windows 8 or you have forget your wifi password. if so, read out this article to know how to recover wifi password (Windows 8).

We are using windows 8 that's why we are telling you about windows 8 wifi password recovery.

So lets start step by step

How To Recover Wifi Password

You Can View Wifi Password Only On That PC Or Laptop That Are Connected To That Wifi.

Step #1
Press Win+R and type ncpa.cpl in the run box and press enter.

Step #2

After this screen will appear that will show all network adopter in your system. Select one wireless from these and right-click on it and click on status.

Step #3

Another screen will appear, click on wireless properties button.

Step #4

After Clicking on wireless properties button, another dialog box will appear click on security, then click on show password. this is your wifi password. My wifi password is MyPassword.

You Can Open Wifi Status Dialog Box By Clicking (right-click) On Wifi Icon In Taskbar & Click Open Network And Sharing Center And Simply Click On Connected Wifi.

Step #1:
Open Goolge Drive on your android phone

After This You Will  A Screen Just Like File Manager. If You Have Uploaded Some Documents Already, You Will See Document In Home Page.

Step #2:
 You will see a button '+' in round circle shape. Just Tap on it.

Step #3:
Now You can see many option after taping the '+' Button. There are six option

• Folder
• Upload
• Scan
• Google Docs
• Google Sheets
• Google Slides

Three Option Goolge Docs, Google Sheets, Goolge Slides. We Are Not Using This In Backup Method Because These Are Not Useful As Of Now.

 Folder Option:

       If you want to create a new folder to store file in this. For this just tap on folder button and create new folder.

Upload Option:

       If you want to save files (Video, Documents, Audio, Picture and other data) use upload option. Just shown in picture below.

Scan Option:

       If you want to scan your documents just tap on scan option. This open the camera. Capture the document picture. Once you captured you can convert this to PDF file and save this file to Google Drive. Just Tap on Tick mark and your scan document will be save as PDF file to Google Drive.

If you want to upload or scan more document again tap on '+' Button

So this method is very useful those who hate connecting smartphone to computer. Now They can easily store their documents, pictures, videos and other data to Google Drive without depending on third party app.
